 The SNP&SEQ Technology Platform performs genotyping of SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) and second generation sequencing as a service to academic researchers in Sweden and other countries.

  The SNP&SEQ Technology Platform is part of the Genomics platform of Science for Life Laboratory in Uppsala and is also supported by the Swedish Council for Research Infrastructures and Uppsala University Hospital.
                  

 

 

The genotyping and sequencing procedures at the SNP&SEQ Technology Platform are accredited by SWEDAC (the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment) according to the international SS-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 quality standard. The SNP&SEQ Technology Platform is certified by Illumina as CSPro service provider for genotyping using the Infinium assay and sequencing using HiSeq2000.
